sammie sachs

  • Sammie is a graduate-level counseling intern in New York City offering psychotherapy to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, illness, and issues related to identity and sexuality. Her work is rooted in offering presence, compassion, and curiosity to clients in their processes of facing the difficulties that life brings.

With warmth and deep listening, Sammie is a steadfast partner in working through inner conflicts and long-held patterns, toward greater self-understanding and growth. She is particularly attuned to the ways that unlearning scripts from dominant society may open new possibilities for what gives life meaning, purpose, and joy.
